What Is Rabby? An Honest Review

Rabby is an EVM wallet built by the DeBank team around one central idea: show people what a transaction will actually do before they sign it. Where most wallets display raw contract data and hope, Rabby simulates the transaction and previews the balance changes: what leaves your wallet, what arrives, which approvals get created. For the way people actually lose money in crypto, that is the right feature to build a wallet around.

What It Is

An open-source browser extension wallet (with desktop and mobile versions) covering the EVM world. Same self-custody model as MetaMask: local seed phrase, keys on your device, connects to any dapp. It supports importing existing seeds and pairing with hardware wallets, so trying it does not mean migrating anything.

Who It Is Good For

Active DeFi users on EVM chains, and honestly anyone who signs transactions regularly: the simulation layer is the single biggest usability upgrade to signing safety in years. The vault half of the equation is still hardware; see the Ledger vs. Trezor comparison and my Security page.
